We've come along way since our very humble beginnings in 2002. We are on the verge of something big. Something very big. We decided that we wanted to celebrate the end of one era and the beginning of the next with the difinitive SPiT LiKE THiS collection. Since the release of our last EP, "Sleaze Sells...But Who's Buying?", the SPiT LiKE THiS UNiVERSE has grown a lot and so has the demand for everything that we have ever done. As only two of our four EP's were available in the shops, we had to make a decision. Do we re-release those EP's and then re-print the virtually Sold Out others? Or, do we do the sensible thing and put them all on one outrageously shiny disc and make them sound better than ever before?! Obviously, the choice was an easy one. By combining everything onto one disc, those that are new to SPiT LiKE THiS don't have to hunt around trying to find the rarer stuff and, for the fans that have supported us over the last few years, a TRiPLE-whammy! Not only do they get to hear previously-unreleased material; not only do they get to hear all their favourite songs sounding way better than they did before but, by deleting all the old EP's, we have ensured that they have become instantly collectible and Very Rare Indeed! SPiT LiKE THiS continue to offer Bang for your Buck, Premium for your Pound and Excellence for your Euro! We have put as much effort as is humanly possible into this Collection. The Re-Mastering took weeks. We listened to every song in minute detail to make small tweaks here and there and then very large broad tweaks overall. Every track sounds so much bigger, thicker, brighter, bolder, wider. louder than before - it is almost like a re-birth, breathing new life into them (see below to hear the difference!). In total, you get 21 tracks totalling a massive 77 minutes! We would have loved to have given you more but a CD will only hold 80 minutes of music!! We could have minimised our costs with a 2 or 4 page booklet but, again, we pulled out all the stops to give you an 8 page full-colour booklet - much to the record companies annoyance! We also made the sleeve reversable so you have your choice of covers. The CD itself has full-colour on-body printing and each band member has revealed a closely-guarded secret in the sleeve! SCARY TALES The Collection takes you on a journey. OUR journey. We have kept the 4 EP's portion of the album in chronological order so you can come on that adventure with us. The first 4 songs are off of our "The Pop Shot!" EP. Our initial introduction to the world - doing it our way to see if the world could deal with it. Well, it could. Just. The next 5 tracks are from the "Anarchy For Two" EP. Again, more acclaim. In 2004 we recorded the "Dragged Kicking & Screaming" EP which makes up tracks 10, 11 & 12. Next up are the songs from our ground-breaking "Sleaze Sells...But Who's Buying?" EP - the EP that changed our lives! The remaining 5 songs is the Bonus Material - songs that were recorded but never released along with two tracks from our TotalRock Live Session recorded in 2005. Not only that, the CD is a key to release even MORE BONUS MATERiAL from this very site! The most important aspect of this release though is what it will ultimately lead to. All the money made from the sale of this album will go into recording our Debut Studio Album. Studio time is expensive and we want - no, we DEMAND - that the album we give you will be so earth-shatteringly good, it will become an instant classic. We have it in us - I know that much. We have the songs and the talent, we just don't have the money. The attention-to-detail we crave costs big. Essentially, we are a Major Label act on an Indie Label and, to do what we want to do, we need Major Label money!! BUT, by you - and people like you - buying SCARY TALES The Collection we can record that album. Again, our friends and fans become part of the SPiT LiKE THiS story! If you want to help us to achieve this, do two things. The first is obvious - buy SCARY TALES! The second requires more effort but is just as rewarding - get everyone you know to buy it.
